Remember Phoenix? The girl from Ravenna who was soooo pregnant? Well, now you can watch her puppies grow thanks to Sally, Phoenix's foster Mom Cindy, and to Jessie for helping set the camera up. :)

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN TO ASAP (Animal Service and Assitance Programs) and to Mars, Inc. for their March 19th donation of 40,000 lbs of GoodLife Recipe dog food to UR_KY and other rescues in KY. These donations are very much needed and very much appreciated -

Animal Services and Assistance Programs, Inc. came to URKY's aide again on October 17, when more than 34,000 pounds of donated canned dog food was distributed to area shelters and rescues! This generosity by ASAP and the companies who donate the food (in his case it was Alpo products) makes the difference in saving lives in so many ways. THANK YOU ASAP!
ASAP COMES TO THE RESCUE AGAIN ON JULY 18 IN LEXINGTON, KY!!!!!!

United Rescues of Kentucky, Inc. as well as shelters and rescues within a 200 mile radius of Lexington were again blessed by ASAP with more free food! Manufactured by Nestle Purina, and donated to ASAP, nearly 100,000 lbs of free food found its way on 7/18 to hungry shelter and rescue pets from several states. URKY was proud to host this event, and Banks Floor Covering on Winchester Rd in Lexington again let us use their warehouse. Mike Banks also donated labor and his forklift to this effort! We can not say THANK YOU enough to Cindy Gaffney of ASAP and her group for this desperately needed help, or the the Banks. Visit ASAP at www.asap-usa.org .

ANIMAL SERVICES AND ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS INC. of Marengo, IL again came to URKY's aide with another dog and cat food donation on
June 20th! 17,300 lbs of dog and cat food
was distributed to more than twenty four URKY member shelters and rescues! THANKS ASAP!
SECOND FREE FOOD SHIPMENT A GREAT SUCCESS!
UR_KY has been blessed by the ASAP (Animal Services and Assistance Programs Inc. of Illinois) with TWO huge shipments of donated food for our shelters and rescues in need! Dec 5th saw 38,000 lbs of free dog food, and Dec 20th saw a second shipment of 41,600 lbs of donated cat and dog food! More than 25 rescues and shelters have benefitted from each of these wonderful donations, as well as UR_KY's food bank! Blankets and more were also donated to the shelters and rescues through URKY's Warm Fuzzies Fund! THANKS ASAP, and a special thanks to Mike and Ellen Banks of Banks Floor Covering in Lexington for loaning us their warehouse, forklift and employees!
